What is new in this Version?
The course title was changed to better communicate the course focus. Rescue and Recovery (RnR) and System Migration Assistant (SMA) have been revised to include new features of RnR version 3 and SMA version 5. Sections were added to cover IBM System Information Center and IBM Software Delivery Center. ImageUltra Technologies was reworked to include more technical features of the product rather than just the marketing/sales value features.

Students will learn the system management, recovery, and migration features of the ThinkVantage Technologies used with ThinkCentre desktops, ThinkPad notebooks, and OEM client systems. This course will also prepare students for the advanced ThinkVantage technical courses.

The target audience is any customer who has purchased or is considering purchasing a ThinkCentre desktop or ThinkPad notebook. Business Partners who sell and maintain Client products, as well as employees who will be selling and maintaining Client products, should also take this course.
