This course is designed for the IT deployment and systems management professional who is looking for ways to streamline systems deployments and system maintenance.
Who should take this course?
This course should be taken by IT administrators and personnel who will be using IBM Director on client systems in a network environment. By providing considerable hands-on experience, this course also offers a good base knowledge to individuals who will be promoting the use of IBM Director, RDM, RRPC, and SMA.

Administrative-level skills of Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems
Administrative-level skills of network environments and architecture
Completion of the Web-based course Introduction to ThinkVantage Technologies: Migration and Uptime (TXW16)
Students will be able to deploy their existing corporate software images and create new images for their client systems using RDM

Students will be able to migrate end user settings from one system to another and apply standard corporate settings using SMA

Students will be able to install, configure, and utilize RRPC to back up and restore system data
