What is new in this Version?
This version of PC Basics includes the latest personal computer (PC) technologies, such as wireless networking, the latest industry-standard Intel-based processors and chipsets such as the Intel® CentrinoT Mobile Technology for breakthrough wireless performance and the Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor with HT Technology for enhanced performance and system responsiveness. Additionally, this version includes the latest on storage media, systems management tools and procedures, audio-video communications, and security offerings.
What are the benefits of this course?
This introductory course will provide anyone who is new to the PC environment with a broad overview of PC-based client and mobile systems and the core technology found in each. The successful completion of the course will enable the student to describe what a personal computer (PC) is, identify a PC's components and their functions in the system, and explain how a PC works. The student will gain a working knowledge of PCs and will also be better prepared to successfully take other Lenovo Training Solutions courses.
