Lenovo is pleased to announce the Lenovo Products Technology Access Program (TAP) for Lenovo Solution Partners. This program offers all Lenovo Solution Partners the opportunity to purchase eligible products at aggressive discounts from the published Lenovo web price for internal business use, demonstration or development purposes.

How to Enroll:
If you are a Lenovo Authorized Solution Partner - Reseller you may participate in the Lenovo Technology Access program by purchasing through either Lenovo's PartnerChoice offering or through a Lenovo authorized Distributor. If you are already enrolled in the Partner Choice Program, simply contact your Partner Choice sales specialist to place your orders. MARKETING INFORMATION
The Lenovo Technology Access Program offers Lenovo Solution Partners the ability to purchase Lenovo systems with monitors and options at substantial discounts for internal use which includes activities such as sales force automation, demonstration, development, and training purposes. All eligible monitors and options must be ordered in conjunction with a system unit. Lenovo ThinkPad and 3000 Family notebook units are not eligible to receive a discounted monitor as an eligible option. No separate options orders will be eligible for rebates. All Authorized Lenovo Solution Partners will be allowed to participate in the Lenovo Technology Access Program through Lenovo PartnerChoice. Additionally, Lenovo Solution Partner - Resellers with a valid Lenovo Location ID (LOCID) will have the choice of participating and purchasing eligible products, for internal use, either from Lenovo PartnerChoice or through a Lenovo authorized Distributor.

ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION

Authorized Lenovo Resellers and Influencers can purchase up to 8 ThinkPad Notebooks, ThinkCentre desktops, 3000 Notebooks, and 3000 Desktops under the 3Q 2006 Lenovo Products Technology Access Program.

Ordering process choices will vary slightly depending on whether you are authorized to resell Lenovo hardware products and have a LOCID. If you are a Lenovo Authorized Solution Partner - Reseller, with a LOCID you may participate in the Lenovo Technology Access Program by purchasing through either Lenovo's PartnerChoice offering or through a Lenovo authorized Distributor. If you are a Lenovo Authorized Solution Provider - Influencer, you may participate in the Lenovo Technology Access Program by purchasing solely through Lenovo Partner Choice. You must have a valid Lenovo PCD Solution Provider LOCID to purchase through a Lenovo authorized Distributor. If you ARE NOT a Lenovo Authorized Solution Provider - PC Reseller, Solution Provider, Systems Integrator or Distributor but are a member of one of the following program tracks ( such as an ISV, Lenovo Software Solution Provider, etc. and do not have a LOCID) you may participate in the Lenovo Technology Access Program by purchasing solely through Lenovo Partner Choice. You must have a Lenovo ID to purchase through Lenovo PartnerChoice.

The following restrictions apply (please see Announcement Letter LEN 06-402 for full program details and restrictions).

• To qualify for the program you must be a Lenovo Solution Partner.
• Internal use system units and options may not be returned to Lenovo or the distribution channel.
• Only currently marketed Lenovo system units and options, at the time of order or claim receipt at Lenovo Program Headquarters, qualify for this discount program.
• A maximum of eight corporate model (8) ThinkPad notebooks and/or ThinkCentre desktops, per LOCID are eligible for the 30% rebate (20% rebate when attached to a Lenovo TopSeller Think or Lenovo 3000 models.) ThinkPad and 3000 notebooks are not eligible to recieve a discounted monitor.

• A maximum of eight(8) ThinkPad notebooks and/or ThinkCentre desktops, per LOCID are eligible for the 30% rebate(20% for Lenovo TopSeller (Express) or Lenovo 3000 models). A maximum of 5 options* per system are entitled to the same 30% rebate (20% rebate when attached to a Lenovo TopSeller (Express) or Lenovo models). ThinkPad and 3000 notebooks are not eligible to recieve a discounted monitor.

  • No more than 2 monitors or 2 Lenovo projectors can be used as part of the 5 options sold along with the system unit.

  Partners with multiple LOCIDs can not exceed twenty (20) ThinkPad notebooks and/or ThinkCentre desktops per ENTERPRISE at the 30% rebate (20% for Lenovo TopSeller (Express) or 3000 Models).

How to File a Claim
If purchasing from a Distributor and requesting a back-end rebate, please complete the steps outlined below:

1. All claim forms should be submitted to the Lenovo Program Headquarters at the url below:

• Part numbers and serial numbers of purchased system units must be provided on the claim form. Invoice(s) must be attached. Invoice must be dated between the eligible period per the announcement letter.
• No more than 5 system options per Desktop and ThinkPad brand families can be claimed. Valid Lenovo part numbers must be provided.
2. All claims must be submitted to Lenovo Program Headquarters no later than October 31, 2006.
3. Lenovo will issue a rebate check to the qualifying Solution Provider within 6-8 weeks of receipt and approval of the Technology Access Request form.
