Catering Tariff Review 2005 Following a Senior Executive review of the IBM catering services we are delighted to inform you that there will be no general inflationary increase this year, and the overall cost of inflation will be absorbed with no impact to our Customers. However the world commodity markets which dictate the prices may result in price increases to some items such as coffee, while we are hopeful that the effect to our supply chain will be minimal, we will inform you if it becomes necessary to reflect the increased cost in our tariff prices. New initiatives are being piloted in selected sites, as we strive to provide a continued focus on healthy eating and value for money to all our Customers . We welcome your feedback on these initiatives to help us to determine whether we are responding correctly to Customer requests, and to allow us to incorporate popular services to all sites. |

2004 UK Customer Satisfaction Survey Results now available Please find the results of the IBM core categories from the EMEA survey 2004. Action plans are being developed for each location based on all of the areas from both categories of questions requiring improvement and will be available from this site by the end of November. Catering facility at Greenford location re-opens On September 13, the re-vamped service at IBM greenford re-opened providing an inhouse catering solution to that location. A wide range of healthy foods, plus a large assortment of quality chilled and hot beverages are available amongst a comfortable seating area. |

Cafédirect Fairtrade coffee being trialled at South Bank Many of us are becoming more socially concerned and in response to a number of customer requests, we have introduced Fairtrade coffee to the South Bank location on the Cha/Cafe Direct Bar in the food court. Other sites are also being considered for a similar trial. Read more about Fairtrade. |

Farnborough service change update Service improvements were made available to Farnborough users in the second quarter of 2004. Amongst other changes, the long queues at the popular coffee cart will be alleviated by the introduction of two automatic fresh bean coffee machines similar to the once currently used on the coffee cart.
