This is how we do it:
- All Lenovo ThinkPad notebooks, ThinkVision monitors and many ThinkCentre products launched from 2008 are Energy Star 4.0 compliant and have up to 70% energy efficiency improvement compared to older generation PCs.
- Lenovo systems that achieved EPEAT Gold rating also contain up to 90% re-usable and recyclable materials and their packaging is 90% recyclable.
- Lenovo Power Manager and BatteryStretch² technologies provide adjustable power management for better performance and longer battery life.

How can you help to save the environment?
- Choose Energy Efficient products. For PCs and monitors, Energy Star 4.0 certification should be the minimum criteria.
- Activate Power Management features on your PC.
- If possible, do not leave your PC idle for a long time or switched on over night.
- Turn off monitors and printers when not in use.
- For notebooks, use Carrying Cases with proper system protection features to ensure longevity of your PC and lower waste.
- Do not print unnecessarily and recycle old paper documents.
- Recycle packaging and components.
- Use buy-back services to recycle old PCs.
