Environmental Handling Fee (EHF) is a recycling program for electronic equipment set up by the governments of different provinces.
This program is currently set up in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Nova Scotia and is subject to the following charges for equipment shipped to a location in these provinces:
Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia:
Desktops/Server: $10.00 EHF per piece
Mobiles: $5.00 EHF per piece
Monitors: $12.00 EHF per piece
Printers: $8.00 EHF per piece
Ontario:
Desktops/Server: $13.44 EHF per piece
Mobiles: $2.14 EHF per piece
Monitors: $12.03 EHF per piece
Printers: $5.07 EHF per piece
Peripherals: $0.32 EHF per piece (Mice, Keyboards, Single Hard Drives, Optical Drives)
Applicable taxes for each province will also be applied as follows:
British Columbia - GST and PST applied to EHF
Alberta - GST applied to EHF
Saskatchewan - GST applied to EHF
Ontario - GST applied to EHF
Nova Scotia - HST applied to EHF
These charges will be calculated and applied to the invoice.
